Rev. Rick Stevens serves as pastor of Diplomat Wesleyan Church in Cape Coral, FL. During his 42 years of parish ministry he has served churches in the United States and Canada. About half of that time he concentrated on music and youth ministries and recently completed 20 years in Cape Coral.
In addition to academic studies that qualified him for ordination, he completed a Bachelor of Music Education, a Master of Music and a Master of Organizational Leadership. His community involvement follows the historic example of John Wesley and all Methodist pastors serving their neighbors to better society. Charles Wesley, in a famous hymn, captured the ideal of ministry. “To serve the present age, My calling to fulfill.”
