Ray Sandelli
Lee County Board of County Commissioner, District 3 Candidate
In August 2019, Sandelli was appointed by Governor Ron Desantis to the Lee Board of County Commissioners, District 3, a seat vacated by the late Larry Kiker. Sandelli graduated from Monmouth University in New Jersey. He then completed eight years of military service as a naval officer and aviator. While deployed aboard the USS Independence (CV-62) he completed two operational tours to the Mediterranean Sea participating in Sixth Fleet operations during the 1973 Middle East War and the 1974 Cyprus conflict.
